Texas Capital Report Intelligence Maps

Mapping the systems shaping Texas communities.

Texas Capital Report uses ZIP-level analysis, statewide mapping, demographic systems, and geographic intelligence to identify patterns affecting communities across Texas. Our maps are designed to uncover infrastructure gaps, public pressure points, and measurable regional disparities that often remain hidden in traditional reporting.

The Texas Childcare Desert project visualizes where licensed childcare infrastructure fails to meet the needs of working families. By combining childcare capacity estimates, working-family demographics, and ZIP-level geographic analysis, the map reveals how access to childcare has become a critical workforce and economic development issue across Texas.

These intelligence maps are part of a broader effort to analyze housing pressure, migration patterns, healthcare access, consumer complaints, nonprofit service networks, broadband infrastructure, and regional economic opportunity across the state.

“Geographic systems intelligence allows communities to see patterns that traditional reporting alone cannot reveal.”
